Conclusion

Based on the observation result. The activites take place in In House cafe Genting Klang are Dining In, Chatting, Using cellphones and Smoking. All customers in In House cafe during the observation period are all Chinese.


















From the observation result, we can see that the number of female customers in In House cafe is more than male. 78 customers were recorded in In House cafe within the 2 hours of observation while there are only 75 male in In House cafe



















The highest activity happened in In House Genting Klang was Dining in. 153 customers were dining in during the observation period. The second active activity is Chatting which recorded a total of 135 customers. Using phones in In House cafe recorded a number of 48 customer and lastly customers who smoke recorded at a total 13.

Research Method

1. Observation conducted to gather information and data at In House cafe

2. To measure the different activities done by customer with time.

3. Sampling design
             Target population: All In House cafe outlets in Malaysia
                   Sampling frame: All In House cafe outlets in Kuala Lumpur
                           Sampling Unit: - In House outlet in Genting Klang
                                                  - Lunch time
                                                  - Weekend customers
4. Sampling Technique
        Quota-based sampling was used because it speeds up data collection period. Observation was done in the period of 2 hours. Data collection was taken every 10 minutes.

Introduction

 I am a student from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Currently i am taking a course ABDM 4064 Business Research. There a a huge number of franchise restaurant and cafe's in Kuala Lumpur. I had chosen In House cafe as my franchise research. The outlet a chosen for my research was In House cafe in Genting Klang.  There are various activities that happens in a cafe. People often participate in activities that are so common that they themselves do no realize it. In this research i will investigate what the activities done by customers in In House cafe. Data was collected using the observation method.
